What makes a good neighbor?

For us, a good neighbour is someone that has your back whatever they or you are going through.

The #Arboretum is a wonderful place – full of wonders like multi-ethnic and mules-age community where you can be only on nodding terms with neighbours to glueing able to start with “could you just …” and getting a smiling” yeh sure” or “I’ll get back to you”.

With the wonderful and wild mix of young and older (and old), people, you get to meet and greet members of the family (some not being able to speak English) bit recognisable through just being nice.

There is something so simple and rewarding about simply “being nice” and there are loads of examples of it with our neighbourhood.

Loads to do and if you don’t have the time or ability to join in folks will help you join in or find an alternative.

We have two very hard working neighbours and it’s lovely to help them come home to a safe and warm greeting/environment and friendship. Not necessarily a close friendship, but a friendship none-the-less.
