We are so lucky. We live in an area where community groups discuss collaboration ideas. These ideas promote each other and bring the communities together. They celebrate the wonders of the Arboretum area of Worcester (Worcestershire). These groups aim to highlight the wonders of the archaeology, heritage, and community spirit. They also focus on the environment, landscape, and beauty of our community home – the Arboretum.

Hands around the Arboretum
  • Our Eastern European community
  • Our MELA Community.
“Mela” originates from the Sanskrit word “milana,” meaning “to meet” or “to come together,” and is used to describe a large gathering, fair, or festival.
  • Our elderly community (Age UK)
  • Our Worcester YAC (Young Archaeologists’ Club)
  • Our LGBTQ+ (see Worcester Pride for events) community

If you are a member of any of these groups, please comment below. If you would like to suggest others to add, email ccagworcester@gmail.com with their name and contact details.
