This page outlines the opportunities available in and around the Arbo to get involved in protecting our local environment.

The Arboretum Residents Association run a number of ad hoc projects with an environmental focus including, for example, meeting up to develop and maintain our beautiful Pocket Park.

Worcester Canal Group work ‘to enhance the amenity value of the canal for the benefit of the local community’. Volunteering opportunities include taking part in the monthly litter pick, tree planting and being host to a swift box.

The Bramblewood Project ‘offer adults and children a place to connect with nature, themselves and other people’. Children and young people can join the Saturday Forest School, whilst adults can sign up for Woodland Wellbeing Days or heritage craft workshops.

Worcestershire Bat Group operate across the county but are a great way of meeting people who have a shared interest in these fascinating creatures and of discovering how we can look after the Arbo’s precious bat population.
