Worcester was on “Rosie & Jim” – a kids program focused on a canal boat that toured the canals and stopped off to find out how they could “help” and find out what was happening.
Rosie and Jim were on the canal by Wolverton and Lower Chestnut Street.
A fellow dog-walker (Tony with “uncle Herby”) are in it. Tony worked in the post office sorting office (with another neighbour) and still lives on the Arboretum. The old sorting office was just on the right, under the Oculus Bridge there in the background.
Herby is now 11 and is a friend to all new (and old) dogs that venture onto the Lansdowne Park …as long as they are nice.
